Conversations are the building blocks of the trusting and respectful relationships that exist in strong teams. The Straight Talk workshop is based around the conversations that are important in a particular team and that the team should be having more effectively. In preparation for training, these conversations are identified, and generic versions of them are used for practical work.
After training participants are asked to plan one or more of their own conversations and to return the plans to Straight Talk for e-mail feedback. In this way everyone can be held accountable for applying the skills. Ongoing team discussions, with the Straight Talk process as the ground rule, can further consolidate learning.
Workshops are run in-house.
Personal Coaching is an excellent way to reinforce skills learnt in a workshop and to apply them to personal coversations and relationships. Personal coaching is also available on it's own.
